Do note that dine in is not available and ordering can only be made via mobile order. Hence, even though the shop states that CDC payment is available, it's not, since payment is made online whilst placing an order. The place is pretty much dead. There was minimal staff and she couldn't converse in English from what I observed when other patrons tried asking her some questions. Food wise, I personally feel that it has detoriated. I ordered prawn dumpling and OG fried rice. This is always my to-go at Tang Tea House. Fried Rice: While I appreciate that it's not oily, it doesn't even comes with taste. None at all. It feels like the chef had forgotten to add seasonings to it. Also, I noticed the portion has gotten lesser. Great choice for peeps on calorie deficit. Dumpling: This has no taste as well (?). It feels like I'm just eating it for the texture. It was bland. Honestly I don't see myself returning again. Not in person nor online ordering. It's such a shame because I truly liked their food before. If you do plan / insist on going, do order ahead and self collect. Don't wait up there since there's nothing much around the area (it's a housing estate area). Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Very bad experience when I ordered through Grab. I’ve ordered at 5.30pm to break our fast but the restaurant had us waiting. The order got in but it tool too long for them to prepare: I’m not sure what’s going on, on the restaurant’s end, so I cancelled the order 30 minutes before breaking our fast. Just wondering if it’s possible for the restaurant’s admin to cancel the customer’s order if it’s taking too long for to prepare the food or get a delivery rider? We love their food, but a bit upset with this ordeal.

This is the first time I’m giving such a bad review. I went to the shop (in-person) and ordered at 615pm via the QR code. There are 4 staff present. At 630pm, I asked if the order will be late. Male staff said they have a lot of orders. So I asked if can cancel, and he said can’t coz paid by credit card. The male staff says they have no cash at the shop. At 635pm, I asked what’s the status of my order and they said it’s cooking. At 650pm, I asked again and still no response. Despite that - yet, all the grab orders are out: It’s 7pm, and i finally got my order. My comment is simple; if you cannot cope - DO NOT OPEN TO TAKE NEW ORDERS. No apologies, no service recovery. This is ridiculous. Best joke - when I mentioned that they should switch off the online orders first to cope, the male staff said ‘but my boss says cannot close one’. Please don’t patronise. Meal type: Dinner Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
