This is the perfect get away bungalow. Snorkeling , sea kayaking, swimming mere steps outside your room. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The food is top notch! If you want a quiet place to chill next to the beach, look no further! Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

Beautiful and peaceful location with a lovely small private beach and comfortable beds. Unfortunately, the experience is seriously affected by arrogant staff, misleading “sea view” rooms, worn and poorly lit bungalows, and no mobile reception or working Wi-Fi. The location is generally very good. The hotel is relatively remote compared to the rest of the island, which gives a great sense of peace and privacy. However, it is important to note that there are large and very loud beach parties on the neighboring property a couple of times a week, which can be disturbing. The bed was good and comfortable, and there is a fantastic small private beach directly in front of the hotel, which is definitely a highlight. Unfortunately, the service seriously detracts from the overall experience. We had booked and paid extra for a bungalow with sea view, but were given one with a large tree directly in front, which could at best be described as a partial sea glimpse. When I asked about this at check-in, the receptionist arrogantly claimed that a sea view was not part of our booking. After I showed her our booking confirmation clearly stating sea view, she told us we could simply cancel the reservation — while we were standing there trying to check in. When I explained that finding a similar hotel on the same day would likely be impossible, she sarcastically replied, “What do you want me to do for you, cut down the tree?” At the very least, they could have refunded the price difference we paid specifically for a sea view. In addition, the rooms are worn and poorly maintained, with very limited lighting. The layout is odd, with random steps and level changes throughout the room that make little sense and are easy to miss in the dark. There is no mobile phone reception at the hotel, and the Wi-Fi does not work at all. Make sure to do your internet searches and respond to messages before arriving — or wait until after you leave.

A Month in Paradise that Exceeded Expectations! We spent a whole month with our family at Tao Thong Villa 2, and it was simply an unforgettable vacation! The hotel and its location surpassed all our expectations and left us with the warmest memories. Some call this place remote, and that is true. But for us, it was a huge PLUS! Here, you truly feel like you are at the end of the world: on one side is the azure sea, and on the other — the mysterious jungle. We saw many interesting animals right near the villa. The beach and the sea here are perfectly clean. We enjoyed snorkeling — there are corals, lots of beautiful fish, and even sea turtles around. The hotel grounds are very well-maintained and beautiful. The rooms were cleaned excellently and regularly. We felt very comfortable staying here for such a long period. The hotel staff is very responsive and friendly. They made our stay completely carefree. Despite the seclusion, getting to the pier and the village is very easy! Even on foot, it only takes about half an hour walking along the scenic coast, with almost the entire path covered by the shade of trees. Overall, Tao Thong Villa 2 is an astonishingly beautiful place for those seeking seclusion, the beauty of nature, and comfort.
