We had such a wonderful experience at Taste and Rest! It’s about an hour’s drive from Bangkok, but it was absolutely worth the trip. From the moment we arrived, everything felt so unique and thoughtfully done. The place has such a beautiful, relaxing ambience that makes you want to stay longer, enjoy the surroundings, and just take your time with the meal. The food was also very memorable. Everything we tried had its own character, but the Pomelo Salad was definitely one of our favorites. It was so fresh, flavorful, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. It’s the kind of dish you keep thinking about even after the meal is over! The staff were another highlight of our visit. Everyone was warm, friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. You can really feel the care they put into both the food and the overall dining experience. What we loved most about Taste and Rest is that it didn’t feel like just another restaurant visit. The combination of the atmosphere, the unique dishes, the beautiful setting, and the wonderful service made the drive from Bangkok feel completely worthwhile. We would definitely come back again whenever we’re in Thailand. I honestly wish we had a Taste and Rest in the Philippines because this is exactly the kind of restaurant I would happily visit again and again. Highly recommended if you’re in Bangkok and don’t mind taking a little drive for something special. The one-hour trip is definitely worth it!
