3 stars for atmosphere because it’s in a hawker, other than that, 5 stars for value and quality and quantity. Fish was enough for 2-3 to share, there are also other ingredients like vermicelli , beansprout, black fungus and cabbage. We only ordered the grill fish for one pax - $11.80 Taste wise it’s warming to the stomach, just a bit oily at the end. 2nd time here and would revisit again. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

I waited in line to place my order for about 30 minutes, and then it took another 40 minutes to finally receive my food. If I hadn’t gone back to ask about my order, I would probably have waited even longer. I noticed that customers who ordered before me, and even some who ordered after me, had already received their food—especially those who ordered fish dishes. This way of working is unprofessional and not worth the long wait and queue. I am quite sure my order was forgotten, as I saw that the orders below mine were crossed out while mine was left untouched. There wasn’t even a single apology. Food: 3 Service: 1

Chong Qing Grill Fish Fried French Bean Braised Eggplant Black Pepper Beef Tasty Kitchen Grilled Fish @ 724 AMK 724 Ang Mo Kio Ave 6, #01-42, Singapore 560724 Food wise: Tasted quite good! The flavour was better than decent. The French bean was firm and slightly crunchy, with a good aroma of the olive vegetables and spring onion. It was mildly spicy on the bite of the dried chilli. The eggplant was well cooked, sweet, firm, and well soaked with its gravy, but beware, it was pretty hot, so do cool it down before eating. The Grilled fish was alright, slightly crispy skin, well seasoned, firm and white flesh, and decent grilled flavour. Underneath the fish was a bed of ingredients, cabbage, tofu, black fungus, etc., so it was very good for sharing for two. The best dish for me was probably beef, cause well, beef. The meat was firm and chewy, filled with beefy juices, and glazed with nice black pepper sauce, enhanced with loads of onions, so it was pretty fragrant. Ambience wise: Busy Hawker but was easy to find a seat. Service wise: Great! But the staff was running around serving the grilled fish as the grilled fish was made in bulk, so once ready, it was distributed around the hawker. Efforts for running. Price wise: Chong Qing Grill Fish $20 Fried French Bean $5.50 Braised Eggplant $5.50 Black Pepper Beef $12 Decent zi char style, worth a try. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
