おばんざいのコース（10品）を注文しましたが、8割が絶品でした。得には唐揚げのサクサク感が気に入っています。他のお店で食べられる唐揚げとは全く違います。ですがどんなに料理が美味しくても接客が冷たくて失礼だと台無しです。 私たちは日本語が話せる日本在住の外国人グループ4人で残りのお客さんは全員日本の方でしたがホールの女性スタッフは私たちと違う対応をしました。最初は私たちの言っていることが分からないふりをして日本語で注文したにもかかわらずムッとした顔をしていました。料理や飲み物が運ばれてくると、彼女はテーブルにドンドンと音を立てるほど乱暴に置きました。一方日本の方客には優しく親切でした。これは外国人客に対する差別だと思います。地元の人は日本語以外のコミュニケーションがあまり得意ではないので、冷たく感じることもあるのも分かりますが私たちが受けた対応はとにかくひどいものでした。 胃がムカムカしそうになったあの食事は、私にとって最も不快な経験の一つでした。おかげで皆の夜が台無しになってしまいました。私も接客業もしていますが、相手のバックグラウンドに関わらず、誰に対しても敬意を持って接しています。接客とサービスに敬意があれば、作り笑いをしたり媚びへつらったりする必要はないです。 他のスタッフは親切で対応がよかったです。 We ordered the obanzai course with 10 dishes and 80% of them were superb. I personally love the crispiness of the karaage. It is not any like other karaage you can get out there. However, no matter how amazing the food is if the service is way too cold and disrespectful, it just ruins the whole dining experience. We are group of four foreign residents in Japan who can speak Japanese, and then the rest of the customers were all locals, but the female hall staff treated us differently by initially pretending not to understand us and started to make an annoyed face even though we spoke and ordered in Japanese. When foods and drinks were served, she crudely placed them on our table enough to make a banging sound. On the other hand, she was gentle and friendly with Japanese customers. I believe this is a display of discrimination against foreign customers. I understand that many locals are not really good with communicating other than Japanese language so I understand as well that they may seem cold at times, but the treatment we experienced was just horrible. It is one of my most uncomfortable dining experiences that my stomach almost started to churn. It ruined everyone’s night. I also work in the customer service but I treat everyone with respect regardless of their background. One does not need to fake a smile or suck up to customers, as long as the treatment and service has respect. The other staff members were nice and accommodating though. 京都で本格的なおばんざいを楽しみたいと思い「おばんざい TATSUNOSUKE」に伺いました。テーブル席でゆっくり食事をしましたが、落ち着いた雰囲気で居心地が良かったです。 特に感動したのが名物の“鉄人のだしまき”。ふんわりとした食感の中に、しっかりと出汁の旨みが広がり、シンプルながらも奥深い味わいでした。これだけを食べに来る価値があると思えるほどの逸品です。 おばんざいはどれも優しい味付けで、素材の良さを活かした京都らしい和食。観光で訪れる方にも地元の方にもおすすめできるお店だと感じました。旅行中の食事にも普段使いにもぴったりで、またぜひ伺いたいです。.
