Aunty alice! Here we go again. Years after years being served by her. We are just so fortunate. She is looking younger than before. How did she do that. Here's her secret receipe : she loves to work. She loves serving all her customers. They are like her children and or grandchildren coming home for meals. She remembers everyone of us. We missed the early bird lunch promotion for a 20% discount , but the server helpfully pointed out we could still get 10% off by paying with GrabPay at checkout—nice gesture! Tea House by Soup Restaurant at IMM has a warm, nostalgic vibe with its Samsui woman display and old-school cooking stove setup complete with chopped firewood. We always go for their Signature Samsui Chicken—it’s a must-have. Juicy, tender, and paired with loads of ginger. This time, we added the Samsui Ginger Bao, Fried Beancurd Roll, Prawn Cheong Fun, and Olive Rice, which was super fragrant and flavorful. The free-flow chrysanthemum tea was a great touch—you can easily get a refill. And don’t skip the sambal chilli, it really brings everything together. The dishes are cooked with less salt and oil, which we appreciate—no post-meal thirst! Definitely a spot worth returning to for the delicious food and friendly service.
