I had a group dinner at this outdoor restaurant inside Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore, and while the food was absolutely fantastic, the overall experience was somewhat affected by the noise from passing planes. The highlight of the meal was definitely the seafood barbecue, which was expertly grilled and full of flavor. The seafood was fresh, perfectly cooked, and well-seasoned, making it the standout of the evening. The restaurant also offers a good variety of dishes, ensuring that there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The ambiance was lovely, with an open-air setting that created a relaxed, resort-like atmosphere. However, one major downside was the noise from airplanes flying directly overhead. Since the hotel is located right beneath the flight path, planes passed by almost every other minute, making conversations difficult and disrupting the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. The sound was so loud at times that we had to pause our conversations until the plane passed. Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

I did not get to dine at this place because they suddenly informed me that the menu I had pre-ordered for a birthday party of 16 pax was not available. As such, I am giving them one star for the terrible service. There was also no apology or alternative proposals given. They merely asked me to order something else. What happened was that I booked two rooms at Dusit Thani as well as emailed Tee Deck to reserve a table for 16 for dinner. We had planned to let the kids swim from 4pm and then have dinner at 6pm to celebrate a birthday. In advance, I ordered four of the BBQ set. This was all confirmed via email with Jessica. However, on the day we checked in and when we were having our welcome drinks at the Tee Deck, I asked about our upcoming birthday reservation. While so doing, the chef whispered to the staff that there is no BBQ for the month of June. I was quite surprised as I already pre-ordered 3 weeks in advance. The staff then said he will check with his manager who was Jessica. Jessica came a few minutes later and she confirmed that there was no BBQ and asked me to order something else from the ala carte menu instead. And that was it. The purpose of having it at Tee Deck was because it was close to the pool and having the BBQ set for the birthday celebration was ideal since we had a big group. To order individual portions did not seem as hearty for the celebration. Overall, very disappointed. Had to make alternative plans myself as no alternative was offered to me. We even booked a staycation here but honestly the disapointment from this failed meal really dampened the birthday. If you want to come for a causal meal after a swim - no problem. If you want to do anything bigger, I don't think Tee Deck has the capacity for it.
