Tempura Uchitsu in Hong Kong was extraordinary. Each course showcased pristine ingrediets, incredible technique and precision with. The pacing felt considered; the counter theatre intimate yet unpretentious and spacious. Dipping salts and citrus balanced richness and was a journey with each taste. Service was attentive and incredible. An impeccable, transporting omakase; craftsmanship elevated to pure art. This restaurant is a pinnacle of quality. You must! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $500+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: Catered to my prawn allergy and very accommodating.

A truly memorable first experience with tempura omakase. High-quality ingredients as everything tasted fresh and delightful. The batter was light and crisp. Each bite was delightful. Some of the notable ones were uni wrapped in shiso leaf, and soft-shelled turtle spring rolls. The snow crab kadaifu rolls were outstanding, showcasing the chef’s expertise in texture and nuanced flavor. The melon served at the end was sweet and refreshing. Apart from the delicious food, watching the chef at work was an enjoyable experience. The service was great. Staff was attentive and provided detailed explanation on how best to enjoy each dish. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $500+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Tempura Shiso with Uni Sea Urchin
