久しぶりに来たら、出汁が出てきました。 これで明太子茶漬けで食べるのが良い。 お腹いっぱい食べちゃったよ。 ----- 明太子のおかわり自由が目当てで行きました。 天ぷらはまあまあ頑張っている。 あとは値段もまあまあするので、日本の店舗の様に出汁を出してくれたら、満点だったのに… 出汁茶漬けで明太子が食べたかった。. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿600–800

I recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Japanese-style tempura in a calm and clean atmosphere in Bangkok. Tempura Yamaya (One Bangkok) focuses on the basics done well: the batter is light, crisp, and not oily at all, allowing the natural flavors of shrimp, fish, and vegetables to stand out. Each piece feels carefully prepared, from the texture of the ingredients to the temperature of the oil. Even simple items taste satisfying when the technique is this solid. One of the most impressive points is the side dishes. You can enjoy unlimited refills of mentaiko (seasoned cod roe), takana pickles, steamed rice, and miso soup. If you love mentaiko, this alone can make the visit worthwhile. It adds a sense of hospitality that feels very Japanese — generous, simple, and warm. The price is slightly higher than typical Japanese-style casual dining in Bangkok, but considering the location, the quality of ingredients, and the overall satisfaction, it still feels reasonable. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, without unnecessary decoration, making it comfortable even for solo diners. It works well for a quick meal after work, or a slow weekend lunch when you want something comforting.
