A Scenic Gem with Great Korean Bites A friend of ours who stays at the service apartments at Townplace West Kowloon, Nam Cheong, suggested we head over to try their contemporary Korean menu. It turned out to be a fantastic choice for the three of us! Beyond the food, the real highlight is the setting. You can snag a window seat for a beautiful seaview, or even sit outdoors to fully take in the harbor breeze. It’s the perfect backdrop for a catch-up. Here is how our meal stacked up: The Winner: The Avocado Kimchi Beef Fried Rice is an absolute must-order—it was the standout dish of the night. The Hits & Misses: The Orange Pancakes are perfect for sharing; the portion was generous enough for all three of us, and the oranges themselves were incredibly fresh and sweet. The Crispy Pork Sushi Roll had a great concept, though it felt a little too heavy on the deep-frying for our taste. The Yuzu Deep-Fried Chicken with French Fries was a decent, standard accompaniment. Drinks:We tried the Mandarin Yuzu drink and the Yuzu soda both of which were just average. The bill came to just over HK$500. While not a budget meal, it feels like a very reasonable price considering the stunning seaview and the overall ambiance. Looks like they are understaffed, theres a recurring theme of missing orders or not supplying utensils after food is served. Staff can be rude one minute but suddenly become super friendly later. Also need to pay attention to presentation - cups and plates are all wet. Plates are also broken and pose a safety hazard.
