たまには、香港島サイドのお洒落なレストランにも足を運んでみました。金鐘站からPacific Place 地下のレストランフロアにあるタイ料理の店。客層が明らかに違い、英語が主体。タイ料理の焼きそばパッタイを頼みました。味は美味しいのですが、値段が高い。場所柄仕方ないのですが、パッタイ約2000円。タイだったら多分四分の一以下かな？雰囲気代ということで。

Visited this Thai resto in Pacific Place with colleagues for farewell lunch. . We ordered the following dishes to share: -Thongdee Pomelo Salad (HKD118) The salad had a sweet and slightly tangy flavour, with a pleasantly lemony scent. The mint oil added a refreshing touch, and the peanuts provided additional textures. -Crispy Soft Shell Crab Rice Paper Roll in Six Pieces (HKD138) The soft shell crab had a crunchy exterior, and the sauce at the bottom, a mixture of avocado, coriander oil, mayonnaise and shrimp oil, added creaminess and made the roll savoury to enjoy. -Thai Fish Cake in Two Pieces (HKD56) The fish cake was pleasantly chewy, and dipping it in the sauce made of shallot, Thai red chilli and vinegar, added a subtle sourness. -Thai Prawn Cake in Two Pieces (HKD68) The prawn cake had a crispy exterior and chewy interior. The sweet chilli dipping sauce elevated its umami. -Chicken with Green Curry (HKD168) The curry emitted a fragrant coconut milk aroma, and contained Thai eggplant, okra, beer-pickled shallot and Thai basil oil. The chicken was tender, but the portion was small. -Thai Fried Iberico Pork Noodle with Sauce (HKD198) The noodle included baby corn, mushroom, kale and asparagus. The price was high with such a small portion, and the taste was not that memorable. -Pad Thai Noodle (HKD158) The noodle featured prawn, egg, bean sprout, peanut, lime and chilli flake. It had some wok hei, but the portion was really tiny. . The resto is spacious and the seating is comfortable. We placed our orders via QR code. The high price of the food, considering the really small portion, made me think that its CP value is low. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: HK$150–200 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
