We were quite disappointed with our meal! It was delicious food but we asked for everything we ordered to be spicy. Not a single thing had a hint of spice at all. We ordered the duck noodles in soup, pad kra pao with chicken, Khao soi noodles with chicken, fried garlic shrimp and cabbage fried in oyster sauce. I wasn’t expecting the duck noodles or cabbage to be spicy but, we thought the Khao soi or pad kra pao would be! We left feeling quite sad. We wanted to have some authentic Thai food but it was missing the heat. We realized that on the receipt, the server wrote (spicy) beside the pad kra pao, but again, there wasn’t even a hint of heat. It’s a nice space and in a cool area, good service, but the food didn’t match our expectations whatsoever. The best things we tried were the duck noodles and the fried cabbage. We had an amazing meal at the place across (called Pa-Noi Thai) which I would visit again in a heartbeat! We ordered the duck curry and the roasted duck, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, well-balanced, and the duck was perfectly cooked. The smoothies were also amazing and paired perfectly with the meal. The food was genuinely outstanding and worth every single penny. On top of that, the waitresses were extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended!
