We have visited this place several times over the years. Today we took the long drive again to have coffee and lunch. The young Thai woman was very unfriendly and surly. We ordered hot and specified ( very hot) cappuccino. They arrived within 10 minutes of each other and were not proper cappuccino. Not only that but we're luke warm. My wife ordered lunch, which was overpriced, but she was hungry. The final insult was to be charged 30 baht service charge. Scenery is beautiful, but definitely our last visit!! Service: 1

This place is like a hobbit shire/Ferngully fusion. If elves and fairies exist, they live here (amongst all of the rabbits, bunnies, chickens, and other wildlife that roams freely). This place is pure magic. If you’re looking to be surrounded by the sounds and scents of nature, enveloped by a most beautiful and expansive zen garden, relax, reset, and feel like you’ve found yourself inside a magical dream then this place is for you. The staff here are incredibly friendly, they really make you feel like you’re home. I extended my stay in Thailand just so I could stay here. I cannot recommend it enough. It’s the perfect place to get centered, commune with nature, and experience the beautiful countryside of the Chiang Mai province. Really, really well done! Service: 5

Tharnthong Lodges is a perfect escape for nature lovers. Surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful scenery, the atmosphere feels calm, refreshing, and relaxing. The beautiful natural environment, fresh air, and quiet surroundings make it an ideal place to unwind away from the busy city life. The lodges are cozy and comfortable, and the staff are warm and welcoming. Waking up to the sounds of birds and enjoying the stunning views created a truly memorable experience.
