truly a hidden gem in cwb save this if you’re looking for somewhere quiet the area! the perfect place to take a break from the bustling cwb streets. they don’t only provide a cozy space, they also serve really good drinks! the baileys coffee is really a must order; it’s like dessert in the form of a boozy & caffeinated drink i also got their diy bento meals, which makes my meal fun, while keeping it nutritious loved their sweet potato purée and fried chicken (it’s seasoned sooo well)!! another one worth mentioning is their croffles it’s buttery, crunchy, and chewy all at the same time. ended my meal perfectly with this choice! also love how spacious their outdoor area is they often host events here, so if you want to be updated, stay tuned to their instagram posts! The ambiance is perfect for a casual meal with friends or a laid-back date night. Bento Choices Bonito Soup Udon The Bonito Soup Udon was nothing short of spectacular. The broth is rich and umami-packed, with a perfect balance of flavors that warms the soul. The udon noodles were perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of chewiness, making every slurp satisfying. Purple Sweet Potato Salad This whimsical salad is a standout. The sweet potato adds a lovely creaminess and a pop of color, while the dressing is light and tangy, enhancing the natural sweetness of the potatoes. It’s a refreshing counterpart to the heartier dishes! Mentaiko Tamagoyaki The Mentaiko Tamagoyaki was fluffy and delicately flavored; the saltiness of the mentaiko paired beautifully with the sweetness of the egg. Karaage Chicken The Karaage Chicken was flavorful and juicy, with a crunchy exterior that made it addictive. It's a must-try for fried chicken lovers. Braised Beef Brisket The Braised Beef Brisket was tender and savory, with deep flavors that complement the lighter dishes perfectly. This weekend brunch spot offers a unique experience with its B.Y.O.B. (Build Your Own Bento) concept. B.Y.O.B. Build Your Own Bento 1: Bonito Soup Udon The Bonito Soup Udon was a delightful start to my meal. The broth, rich and umami-packed, enveloped the thick udon noodles perfectly. Mentaiko Jade Cucumber The Mentaiko Jade Cucumber was a refreshing contrast. Crisp and slightly spicy from the mentaiko (pollock roe), it added a burst of flavor and color to the meal. Soft Boiled Egg The soft-boiled egg was cooked to perfection, its golden yolk spilling beautifully upon cutting. Miso Pork Neck The Miso Pork Neck offered a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness, with its rich, savory glaze enhancing the pork’s natural flavors. Karaage Chicken The karaage chicken was crispy and succulent, a true classic with a light batter that didn’t overpower the juicy pieces of chicken. Alternative B.Y.O.B. Option 2 On my visits, I also sampled another B.Y.O.B. option, which featured a hearty Deep Fried Egg Tofu that was beautifully crispy on the outside and creamy within. The Nagaimo-Zuke with Wasabi Sauce offered a unique texture and a spicy kick, pairing well with the other components. The Iced Mocha, on the other hand, was refreshingly rich—a delightful blend of chocolate and coffee that wasn’t overly sweet. Dessert The crown jewel of my meal was the Ovaltine Croffle. This dessert was nothing short of spectacular—a playful fusion of croissant and waffle that delivered a delightful crunch, with a nostalgic Ovaltine flavor that brought back fond childhood memories.
