We visited The Australian Pub in Osaka to watch the Formula 1 Grand Prix. From the beginning, the manager’s attitude was unfriendly. He told us there was a 2,000-yen fee per person + one drink to watch the race, which we agreed to without any problem. We told him we would come back in an hour, and although he didn’t seem pleased, nothing suggested it would be an issue. When we returned, the place was almost empty, yet he told us there were “no seats available” and refused to let us in. Outside, there were two tables with a TV showing the race, and when we asked if we could sit there, he also said no—even though the tables were free. He even turned off the TV right in front of us. Very poor customer service and no willingness to welcome customers. I would not recommend this place to tourists or anyone looking for a friendly spot to watch sports, especially fellow Latin American travelers. Service: 1
