One of the most unique speakeasy experiences I've had. Finding the entrance was half the fun! walked past it several times and asked the hotel stuff for directions. Somehow, that made the experience even more exciting. After scanning a reservation QR code, we stepped into what felt like a theatre backstage filled with costumes, makeup stations, vintage props and warm-lit mirrors before entering the actual bar. love thissss! the cocktails were excellent and thoughtfully crafted. We enjoyed the Jamón Ibérico, Tuna Belly tartare with yuzu, Colonial yuzu sour, a Rum old fashioned, and Whisky on the rocks. Everything was well executed and complemented the immersive atmosphere perfectly. this spot feels like a theatrical experience from start to finish. definitely a hidden gem and one I'd happily return to. Price per person: $80–90 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Finding The Backdrop was not easy at all. I walked back and forth in front of the entrance several times, asked different people for directions, and nobody really seemed to know where it was hidden. Honestly, that became part of the experience. It never felt frustrating — quite the opposite. The harder it was to find, the more curious and determined I became to discover where this hidden bar actually was. Eventually, I spotted a small QR code hidden inside a display window. Scanning it unlocked the first secret door. From there, I stepped into what felt like a theater backstage area, filled with costumes, makeup stations, mirrors with warm lights, and vintage props. It immediately felt like entering a completely different world. After passing through the backstage, I finally entered the actual bar: elegant, classic, softly lit, and incredibly relaxing. The cocktails were excellent: creative, balanced, and clearly crafted with great attention to detail, both in presentation and flavor. The only slightly disappointing part was the bar seating. I would have loved to sit directly at the counter, which is usually my favorite spot in cocktail bars because I enjoy watching the bartenders work. Unfortunately, I was told the seats were reserved. The strange part was that during the entire hour I stayed there, nobody ever came to occupy them. Not a huge issue, but still a small disappointment. That aside, The Backdrop feels much more like an immersive theatrical experience than just another cocktail bar. A hidden gem with a unique atmosphere, fantastic drinks, and a memorable entrance experience. I would definitely come back

Found an amazing bar tucked away at Voco with grand, special decor. Bikini tapas + Reverse Gin & Tonic/Monk Sour cocktails with smoky entrance were highlights. ∼$200 for 5 drinks + tapas for 2. Service was excellent. Only downside is strict QR entry, can’t enter even 5 mins before booking time. Too rigid for a chill spot. Overall great vibe and drinks, just wish they were more flexible on entry and offer complimentary parking - since menu price is not cheap. Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
