Great hidden-away little bar with a cozy, underground den vibe. The Bar Vagabond feels like a bonfire-style Japanese whisky and cocktail bar, and the concept is really well executed. From the moment you walk in, you can see shelves upon shelves of whisky lining the walls, which adds a lot to the atmosphere. You can also tell the team puts a lot of attention and TLC into the details—especially the ice used for each drink. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into the craft behind the bar. The whisky selection was pretty good too from whisky from different countries and regions. The cocktails were delicious. I tried “Before the Rain” and “Sakura Whisper,” and both were beautifully balanced and enjoyable. Overall, it’s a great spot for gathering with friends, sharing unique drinks, and spending a relaxed evening discovering new flavors. Definitely a place I’d return to.
