If you’re looking for those perfectly round, factory-made meatballs... you’re in the wrong place. At The Beef House on Syed Alwi Road the beef balls are handmade, slightly irregular, and firm enough to win a game of ping-pong. The real magic happens when you pair them with their Hakka Noodles. It’s a simple bowl, but add some sambal chili and the noodles levels up like crazy into a salty, umami-packed hug for your tastebuds. Mix it all up, take a bite of the springy noodles, and follow it with a snap of that beef ball. It’s the kind of "clean" yet satisfying meal that makes you feel like you’ve actually made a good life choice for once. I’ve posted some tips on visiting this stall on my Instagram @iamgettingfat.
