Had the hazelnut ice cream with the cone. Plaze is very cozy, suitable for a chill dessert timeout or a short break from life. The cone can be a little thicker as it broke during the very first scoop I attempted to eat from the ice cream. Had to get a cup from the staff to hold the ice cream itself as i wolfed down the cone. Staff was patient and helpful with the orders.

I’ve been to super busy ice cream shops in town — super long queues and crowd. And to me, this shop handles crowd control quite poorly. The staff appear frazzled and I emphatise with them being a two-man team trying to clear orders as quickly as possible in the weekend crowd, but I definitely feel that it affects their customer service pretty badly. There’s a lack of system that allows them to track which order belongs to which table, unfriendly demeanor of the staff, and the chapalang way of scooping. My double scoop cone was so carelessly scooped, I had to hold my unbalanced cone at a 45 degree tilt to make sure it doesn’t fall. When asking them for a spare cup to help me balance, they informed me it was chargeable, which I understand from an anti-take-advantage standpoint, but I think it’s just bad service. Ice cream flavours: Tie guan yin 2/5 Hazelnut 4/5 Acai banana 3.5/5 Matcha banana 5/5

Perfect spot for dessert time with family. We came on Saturday afternoon and enjoyed eating their unique ice cream flavours -hazelnut Royale, banana and strawberry chai seed and waffle! Waffle is warm, soft, slight crispy on the outside but the perfect crisp and light! Simply love this and I don’t think anywhere else in the north area can beat The Better Scoop! Love it! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
