️ The Brass Rail Lounge Hotel Miramar 401 Havelock Road (Lobby Level 1) Singapore 169631 I had reserved a table for two at 8 PM at The Brass Rail Lounge on 4th Feb 2025 Tuesday. The booking was reserved under the Google App Link in partnership with Eatigo App, which allowed me 50% discount off the dishes during a certain time period. My hubby and I ordered the classic Hainanese Chicken Rice and Hokkien Mee dishes. Both local dishes were scrumptious and well-crafted. The Hokkien mee noodles were cooked nicely in a super rich & flavourful pork bone & prawn stock, giving them a distinctive umami taste and texture. For the Hainanese 鸡饭 Chicken Rice, the chicken breast pieces were poached to perfection, retaining its tender and juicy texure. The rice grains here were infused with the rich flavours of the chicken stock, and the result was fluffy, delicious and aromatic rice. Service wise = Both staff, Mr Hairul Shafiq and Mr John Boo, were cheerful, amiable, and have genuine dispositions. We had a short chat about Hotel Miramar's founding and I told them the hotel was established in 1971, and when I was a little girl in the 1970s and a young person in the 1980s, I had been to the dining facilities at the hotel. But that was so long ago and today, I am revisiting the hotel again. I do remember Hotel Miramar in its early days. As I walked through the hotel lobby tonight, I am reminded of the past again. I had family dinners here before, and makan sessions with old friends here. Am happy to have dined here tonight and would be back soon. Thank You for the friendly and great hospitality shown to my hubby and myself tonight! Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
