I've come here multiple times on weekdays and weekends. It's usually packed on weekends but they have 2 dining spaces and outdoor seating open on weekends to handle the crowds. Weekdays are quieter but never empty. The wagyu cheeseburger was juicy, tender, and very yummy. Decent sized as well. The fries were well fried - better than some French bistros! Generous portion of fries too. The lemon pistachio was very moist, tasty, zesty, and my party honestly couldn't stop eating it. I felt that it was too sweet because the top crust was pure sugar. Otherwise, nice. Matcha latte was above average but I've had better. Staff are eloquent and generally very pleasant. Not exceptional service but not poor either. Some staff were very eager to clear our plates when we actually weren't done, and we had to politely tell them no. A great place overall to catch up with friends and enjoy a nice meal. Visited the cafe on Valentine, location had ample parking and was easy to locate. Tried the earl grey lemon cake, the lemon taste was prominent and the icing provided a sweet finish to it. Also had the mocha which was sufficiently fragrant, the watermelon berry lemonade however was lacklustre - it only had the mild taste of watermelon and bitterness of tonic water Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

The Brewing Ground is in the Yards, Joo Chiat Place. The Yards is a re-purposed school building. The cafe is cosy and food is good. The wagyu bacon beef burger was delicious and went well with the mentaiko fries. The crabmeat pasta was flavourful and the pasta was al dente. Portions were generous. A place that you would want to visit again to try the other offerings on the menu! Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
