Recent update 12/27 During my recent visit to the Cheesecake Factory in Hong Kong, it was still giving me a bad experience and feeling quite disappointed, particularly due to the service I encountered. Upon arriving at 9:30 PM on Sat, Nov27, we were met by a receptionist who bluntly informed us that the restaurant was "full" and "about to close." This was disheartening, especially as I noticed several empty tables scattered throughout the restaurant. The food was okay but as it was closer to 10:40pm we were reminded that the restaurant was closing at 11pm. With such a big brand, one would expect a more welcoming atmosphere, yet it felt rushed and impersonal. It’s no wonder that locals might hesitate to patronize restaurants like this one, given the lackluster service. A dining experience should be enjoyable and unhurried, not one marked by a countdown to closing time. Given these factors, I can only hope that Cheesecake Factory HK reassesses its approach to customer service. Until then, I might explore other dining options that offer a more inviting experience. 9 months ago : finding the food quality to be average compared to 2 years ago. While the extensive menu offers a variety of options, flavors and presentation do not always meet the high expectations.
