A cosy English bar setting topped with exquisite curry dishes, the three elements in a good dining experience are met with the outstanding Mandarin Oriental tradition. Despite the summer renovation when the road to the restaurant is a bit tricky, it is still well worth the visit, you will be guided by staff members throughout the winding journey. Make sure that you enter through the 1st floor walkway from Prince's Building, the only access, too many stairs for handicapped guests, not recommended. Reservation a must, only 30 seats including bar seating. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $500+ Vegetarian options: A few good dishes can still be enjoyed for vegetarians. Parking: Access to parking lot across the street next to Jardine house is a long walk now that the front entrance of the hotel is blocked for renovation. Recommended taking a taxi and get off at Prince's Building. Kid-friendliness: Not recommended for kids, it is an intimate setting for friends and couples. Wheelchair accessibility: Not recommended especially now with the renovation in progress until early October 2926.

The waiters were very friendly and explained the menu well. Sherperd's pie and chicken tikka are perfect. Wines on the list paired well with the food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $500+

I had not visited the Chinnery in over 10 years. All the things that I loved about it remain the same. Even the staff, who are grayer but ever so helpful.
