We’ve been to chippy quite a few times over the past few months. Their signature fish and chips is absolutely delicious. However their scampi was awful. We reported something was off with it and we barely touch it but we still were charged full price That is a bit disappointing to say the leastthe service is really average compared to other places in DB Meal type: Dinner Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Had the large size signature fish and chips. The fish was pretty good, about the same size as an average UK portion. Chips were average, not like British chips! Price is expensive for what you get, nothing else included in the price, have to pay extra for a sachet of Tartar sauce, no salad or mushy peas! Any other restraunt I have eaten at would include one of these, especially for the price. With a Guinness, which wasn't the best, the price was equivalent of nearly £30. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $250–300 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

If you're British and got a hankering for authentic Fish 'n' Chips, The Chippy is where it's at. I'm ashamed I've been in Hong Kong 10 years and only just made my first trip to DB, but I will definitely be returning. The battered sausage, the cod, the gravy, mushy peas, pukka pies are all as authentic as you'd get on any UK high street. The chips however are not. They're better! Perfect crispy coating and fluffy inside - without the softening wilt you get from them sitting in the range at a chip shop. There's a great range of beers and wines too, but I was happy with my PG Tips. I only have one small complaint - there needs to be another The Chippy or two in Hong Kong! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $200–250 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: There's a couple of vegan pies on the menu, apart from the obvious chips n mushy peas.
