I called this hotel to check availability as I was driving through the area and needed a place to stay for the night. I was told they had beach front or garden for a lower price. We were told we could still eat at the fine dining restaurant. When we arrived it seemed deserted and vacant and the receptionist told us the garden rooms were at a different hotel about 500 meters away. We went out to view the ocean and the deck. I was disappointed as the beach was not clean looking but was told this was because of the strong winds over the last few days. As I looked back at the hotel it looked dated and not well maintained and I am glad I didn't book a room here. In fact it looked like there were no guests staying in the hotel. The "fine dining" restaurant looked like a glass box on the side of the deck on the empty terrace. We were told the fine dining food came from the kitchen at the garden hotel from around the corner where we stayed. I will tell you already that the food at the garden hotel was pub grub and nothing about it was fine dining. If you don't have any options I guess I would stay here but if you have a choice I wouldn't stay here. Service: 1
