$8 - salted egg prawn rice with fried egg This place has the worst salted egg sauce ever. Firstly they use small frozen prawns. It's 8 bucks, fine. They fry the prawns with the tail in them. Fine. The salted egg sauce was STARCH with salted egg white instead of yolk. So you get none of the fragrance associated with salted egg, and all the salt. Then I tried to pay with grab because they're on the dine out deals platform, but the employee said 老板不给. (the boss won't allow) The owner of this place is unscrupulous and this is false advertising. This place used to be decent for a cheap and quick lunch but now for 8 dollars it's not even worth it. Do not bother!

Like what others said, this is truly the WORST salted egg chicken rice ($6.50), if it is, ever. Probably the worst thing i have ever had. Not even joking. I laughed to myself because it is so bad. First, it isn't even salted egg. There is no element of salt or egg in it. It is just mushy gooey taste mixed with water. It's repulsive even. Do not ever buy it. Don't even try. Second, the attitude of the service staff is just bad. It's as if we owed her a business. Will not return. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Vegetarian options: Nah Dietary restrictions: Don't know

Service and atmosphere is good. However the food quality degraded so much. The KL Hokkien Mee (black) should not be called KL Hokkien Mee. It’s 0 upon 10 and ultra bad. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10
