For a nice relaxing Mountain View and hiking trail experience ride high into the Hehuan mountains, Taroko, Hualien. Our stay here was rejuvenating from the sweltering heat of the cities. Cotswold Villa offers clean and spacious rooms with a classic European feel. The breakfast offers both western (fried egg, cheese, ham and toast) and eastern (congee, stir fried cabbage, tofu and vegetarian sides) style dishes. I highly recommend this scenic spot for vacationers. Near by are sheep farms, equestrian horse shows and local restaurants. Service: 5

This ended up being by far my best stay in Taiwan. The property is fantastic, the proprietors are incredibly friendly and proficient in English. The views are breathtaking. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Service: 5
