Chanced upon this TRUE hidden gem when I was craving Banoffee Pie late in my pregnancy lol. Hadn’t found any in Singapore that I really liked and decided to give the Crossing Edge a try. It ended up being such a delight! The owner is really passionate about her drinks and bakes and she took the time to chat as well as share about the best ways to reheat her bakes. Apart from the Banoffee pie I also ended up trying her Salted Black Sesame Latte. BOTH were so delicious and had a flavor profile with a lot of depth. It took me months to return back as I had given birth but the owner had instantly recognised me and welcomed me back, even remembering my order of Black Sesame Latte. Don’t know how she does it because she has plenty of office folk regulars whom she also chats with. In all honesty, her bakes and drinks are way way better and more interesting than those typical cafes you’ve heard of or seen on social media. PLUS the amazing human connection you get from her. The only thing that I wish for is that the space could be bigger and can accommodate actual sit downs for groups. She mentioned that’s why she opened her second location (it’s called Offsite) and it’s on my list to visit next. It apparently is a much bigger space and has a wider menu. Haven’t tried yet so can’t comment much but The Crossing Edge might be my favorite at the moment. Highly recommend! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Sitting at a quaint corner, the banoffe pie is not overly sweet and the biscuit base slightly salted balance the dessert nicely. Sesame latte was decent with nutty aroma. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
