The experience was very disappointing. A simple Burmese rice and curry took far too long, and for the price, the quality was not acceptable. Key elements of Burmese cuisine like ngapi yay with vegetables and a proper soup were completely missing. These are not optional—they are the heart of a Burmese meal. I would gladly pay extra, but they weren’t even offered. Instead, the soup was just a basic oily chicken broth that doesn’t pair with Burmese food at all. If the restaurant cannot execute these fundamentals, they shouldn’t put them on the menu just to make money. Customers come with expectations and leave disappointed. Overall, the food was not good. Mohinga is good, the service and the atmosphere is also nice. Phat Htamin should be served with decent amount of curry paste and fried roselle with warm steamed rice wrapped in banana leaf instead it didn’t taste like authentic at all. The chef should’ve know the authenticity of a dish before the shop put it in the menu. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Dine in

Even though there was a long wait, the staff were so attentive and apologetic that I felt quite touched. The food was amazing, making the whole experience completely worth it. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
