I attended the focaccia baking session at The Daily Staples Bakery on June 5th 2026, and it was a fantastic experience! Our instructor, SK, was incredibly kind, patient, and thorough in answering all of our questions. I walked away learning so much; from the difference between olive oil and extra virgin olive oil, to selecting the right bread flours and sourcing quality ingredients. The baking space itself was highly conducive to learning, and it was a true pleasure chatting with SK and the other attendees. If you’re hesitating about where to book your next baking class, I highly recommend The Daily Staples! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Attended the focacia bread making session and really enjoyed ourselves! SK explained in detail and let us know how we could modify it if we lacked any baking tools. We got to taste a generous amount of her other bakes (and homemade flavoured butter) in between proofing which were super delicious. The focacia bread we made and brought home was really good too Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

One lovely morning/ afternoon spent learning how to bake from a professional baker! It was so informative and hands-on. I did sourdough, brownies and banana bread! I had ordered from Tha Daily Staples before and loved their products, really good quality ingredients and decided to learn from SK how to bake! I mean I’m a little above beginner level because I bake at home but I’m not pro. SK was patient and very willing to share her tips and tricks from years of experience. I love the day spent with her - chats and laughter in between bakes and learning so much more compared to watching YouTube baking channels. I’m more confident now and hope to bake very soon.
