Absolute disgrace of a place. There was no atmosphere whatsoever, the place was completely dead. The drinks were overpriced, which only made the experience worse. To top it off, our waiter told us we could have two free shots. He then brought out another two shots for himself and a colleague without asking us. When the bill arrived, they tried to charge us for the two shots that the staff had taken. We explained that we’d only been told about the two complimentary shots and nothing was ever mentioned about paying for drinks for the staff. It ended up turning into an argument just to get the bill corrected. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. I definitely won’t be returning. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Koh Phi Phi Don is a cute little island. We've travelled extensively in this region but it's the first time we've stayed here. A nice stop off between Phuket & Koh Mook. It's a busy place, the town is a maze of small laneways lined with the usual bars & restaurants, t shirt & trinket sellers, launderettes & 7/11’s, tattooists, & the ever present weed shops. One of our personal travel goals is to find a nice bar to enjoy Happy Hour & indulge in a little 'peope watching'. A quick wander from our hotel & we found The Dubliner Irish Pub. It's the only 'real' pub that we saw. Nice tables at the front facing the walking street, perfect to enjoy a few cold ones. We only had 2 nights here but spent most of both in Dubliners. Beer is a little on the high side THB150 for a big Singha, benchmark on PhovPhi is around 120. But it's worth it for the chill environment. Friendly staff & prompt service. I lived the music they played, just my stuff, at least early on. Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Green Day, Weezer, & even some Clash. Happy sounds for me. They don't have food but allow you to bring in from outside. Plenty of screens for sports, a pool table, & a stage for live music although we didn't see any. It's a pretty fair go at an Irish Pub, all the right decor & nicely laid out. It's about as Irish as I am (Englishman) but they do it with style. We enjoyed our visits Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
