We came here for dinner, not to stay overnight, so I can't comment on that. A relatively large restaurant with plenty of space, and with a bar right across the courtyard, centrally located in the city. It was rainy and there were few customers, so ordering and serving went quickly, and we left the place full. Here you get both Thai and Western food, and a good selection of drinks, also beer on tap. Parking can be done in the courtyard, or in the street past the place.

I have stayed in numerous places in Chiang Mai and recommend this one most highly. The location odd superb, close to the Old Town and the night market but remarkably quiet. The owners, a Dutch man and Thai woman are wonderfully kind and welcoming. Rooms are bright and very clean. Good range of food options (European and Thai) at reasonable prices. Good staff. Service: 5

I recently visited The European Chiang Mai, a charming homestay owned by Bert, a friendly Dutch man. The staff were incredibly polite and accommodating. One unique feature is that you can smoke inside the small bar/restaurant, which adds a European touch. My friends and I watched the Euros 2024 final at 2am there and had a great time; the atmosphere was cozy, and Bert generously provided free snacks. The complex itself is spacious, even though I didn't stay in one of the rooms. Overall, it was a great experience! Price per person: ฿300–400 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
