Walking into this place feels a bit like going on a blind date where the profile picture wasn’t exactly honest. The entrance does its absolute best to convince you to turn around, and those posters both outside and inside deserve a separate review category titled “creative risks that didn’t pay off.” Honestly, if it wasn’t for the strong reputation whispering “trust the process,” I might have kept walking. But then plot twist. Inside, while the design won’t win any awards, it settles into a comfortable, no-drama kind of space. Nothing flashy, nothing offensive (except, again, those posters we need to talk). And then the food arrives, and suddenly everything makes sense. A proper pizza oven doing proper pizza things. Ingredients that taste like they’ve been respectfully introduced to Italy at some point. Freshly made pastas that don’t try too hard, yet absolutely deliver. It’s the kind of menu that quietly says, “we know what we’re doing,” without shouting about it. This is a place with a bit of an identity crisis: visually confused, culinarily confident. A restaurant that looks like it might disappoint you and then casually proves you wrong, plate after plate. Final verdict: come for the food, ignore the posters, forgive the entrance.
