チョコレートコンパンナという飲み物をオーダーしました。（コーヒーがくわしくないので…） このドリンクがすっごくすっごく美味しい！感動しました。コーヒーに詳しい知人も感動していました。 また、烏龍コンブチャも添えてくださり、暑い夏に最高に美味！ 店内は、平日の10時半で満席。皆さまMacなどで作業しながら。外で飲んでいる人や、To goの人もひっきりなし。人気店です。汗だくな私たちに、オーナーさんは優しく声をかけてくれたり、中に座っている人たちも、サッと席を立ったり、移動したりしてくださり、2席開けてくれました本当に優しい！ありがとうございました！ もう一杯ラテかエスプレッソ系をおかわりしたかったのですが、飛行機の時間がせまり断念。また再訪します お店の方も、素晴らしい接客と人柄！ 行けてよかった！！. 雰囲気もかけている音楽もとてもよかったです。カフェラテを頼みました酸味が少なくほろ苦い。私好みでした。そして何よりも忙しい中店主1人ですが気を使って頂いて居心地がとても良かったです。 支払いは後払いです。

Not recommended if you’re looking for a coffee place to sit and drink with a small group. We went with kids, not knowing how small the coffee shop was. After seeing the size, we had no intention of staying and were fine ordering to-go. The server literally stared at us the moment we walked in and told us to go elsewhere. I understand there wasn’t any space, but he could have simply offered to-go service. When we explained that we would order to-go, he paused for a couple of seconds before finally taking our order. At that point, it felt obvious there was some form of discrimination- whether based on race (even though we speak Mandarin) or simply because we had kids. After getting our coffee, we sat briefly on a bench outside the shop, which was vacant, while ordering an Uber. A few minutes later, the server came out and told us to leave because we ordered to-go. Basically, we weren’t even allowed to sit on the bench despite there being no line and empty space. Honestly, this was one of the most absurd experiences we’ve ever had. This coffee shop is called “The Folks,” a name that implies inclusivity, community, and a welcoming environment. Unfortunately, the way we were treated as customers reflected the exact opposite. Very disappointing! Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Take out Kid-friendliness: NOT AT ALL.

Hello, Because takeaway orders receive a discounted price, they are not permitted to use any of our store’s spaces, including the outdoor area. Therefore, takeaway is intended to be “leave immediately.” I understand that you wanted to sit for a while, so I did not approach you right away. Even so, I acknowledge that I did not explain this clearly at the time, which caused you to have a negative experience, and for that I sincerely apologize. Regarding your mention of racial discrimination or discrimination against children, this is a very serious assumption and accusation. I must state clearly and firmly that I have absolutely no discriminatory intent. Once again, I am sorry that you felt uncomfortable, and I sincerely ask for your understanding that there was no discrimination toward you. Thank you.
