I experienced a very negative and aggresive energy in this bar. As an expat living in Phuket for the past 8 years I have never experienced indecent behaviour like from a patron present at this bar a few nights ago. He referred to himself as the "Boss of the establishment" and acted very immaturely, aggressivly and made racial remarks. I would not recommend this estalishment as I have not experienced this type of close-minded behaviour anywhere on this beautiful island before. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Regarding your recent experience at Family Bar, we are very sorry to hear about your experience. We want to clarify that Family Bar is exclusively owned and managed by a Thai woman. It is possible your experience occurred at one of the other bars nearby. If a customer at our establishment claimed to be the owner or manager, they were definitely misrepresenting themselves and are not affiliated with our bar in a management capacity. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
