Amazing fine dining experience in Seoul. I liked every single dish I had. In particular, the “abalone mandu” is true perfection: when I saw this dish on the menu, I thought it was the usual mandu with minced abalone stuffed inside, turns out it’s actually abalone itself as the mandu wrapping, with wild mushrooms stuffed inside the abalone. What a nice surprise! And how creative. The flavor is beyond description: I’ve always been a huge fan of abalone in soup, but abalone as mandu wrapping has now become my favorite way of enjoying abalone! Every dish here uses high-quality fresh ingredients and the attention to detail is amazing. Every dish is like an artful masterpiece in terms of presentation, the harmony of flavors, the ingredients, the texture etc. I even love the artful design of the utensils, and they change from dish to dish. We had almost 10 courses and yet felt perfectly light at the end of the meal; the portions were perfect and satisfying. The location of the restaurant is also perfect: it’s on the top floor with glass walls overlooking the historic palaces. Kudos to the chefs! Make sure you make a reservation ahead of time. My wife and I ate here on a Sunday night in August and we loved it. Every bite was great, the service was delightful, and the view was lovely. Everything felt very wholesome and fun. We've been to several fine dining restaurants in Seoul and we both thought that The Green Table deserves to be ranked among the very best of them. We hope to go back soon!
