One of the worst dining experiences of my life. I’ve dined at three-Michelin-star restaurants in Paris, New York, Madrid, London, and Tokyo, and I have never encountered service as poor as what I experienced at this Restaurant. The food was, at best, average to subpar, and the food was also surprisingly cheap. But mediocre food I can forgive. What I cannot forgive is the service, which was genuinely some of the most pathetic I’ve ever encountered. We were asked to pay our bill while still eating, before our entrées had even arrived, because the restaurant supposedly needed to “close out all checks” ahead of a 9:30 closing. Having worked in food service years ago, I know that’s not how it works. Then, at 9:30, we were essentially rushed out the door so the cleaning crew could get started. Nothing says “valued guest” like being billed mid-meal and shown the door before you’ve finished. The server was the low point. He didn’t even know his own menu. I’d run the restaurant’s 34-page menu through an AI summary beforehand, and that gave me clearer, more useful guidance than the person actually working there could. Average food, cheap seating and service that made us feel like an inconvenience rather than customers. I won’t be back, and I’d encourage anyone considering this place to look elsewhere. The best Chinese food I’ve ever had in Korea. It’s not Korean Chinese style. Very authentic, perfectly cooked, and great customer service. Every single dish we ordered was A+.
