Food was great, staff were friendly and great spot for kids! Nice activity centre for kids and also a play area. Highly recommended for a Sunday brunch! Meal type: Brunch Price per person: SGD 40–50

We visited The Pantry because it looked like a family-friendly place with a kids’ play area, but the experience was extremely disappointing. We came specifically for the children’s area shown in their photos and videos. On arrival, staff told us the main kids attraction was closed, and the toys with the artificial grass play area were for members only. I politely asked whether our child could use the empty play area briefly, since nobody was there, but they just kept repeating, “Sorry sir, it’s for members.” I then clearly said that if the kids area being publicly promoted was not actually accessible to regular visitors, we would leave and I would reflect that in my Google review. Even after that, nobody seemed to care. There was no real explanation, no effort to help, no flexibility, and no manager coming to speak to us directly. The whole situation felt dismissive and unprofessional. What made it worse is that we were then directed to a different public kids area that was muddy, had bugs, and looked very poorly maintained. It was completely different from the family-friendly space shown online. We did not stay to try the food, so this review is only about the customer experience. If you are visiting with children, I strongly recommend confirming in advance which play areas are actually available to non-members, because what is promoted publicly did not match what we found.
