ペニンシュラホテルの地下にあるギフトショップ。香港国際空港にも有ります。 部下へのお土産で買ったが、クッキーが16枚ほど入った箱が388香港ドル。訪問時のレートが1香港ドル、カード決済で20円を少し超えていた。1枚500円近い。部下に1枚貰って食べたが、ごく普通の味だった。日本人が本格的に貧乏になったのを実感した瞬間だった。. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I have always been interested in eating the afternoon tea at the Peninsula Hotel lobby cafe. But I had to line up very early, so I still haven’t gone there yet But I happened to be near Tsim Sha Tsui one weekday morning. So I went to try my luck and see if I could get a reservation. Since the newly opened The Peninsula Boutique & Café has fewer seats, I decided to go to the coffee shop and ask first, but I didn’t expect that I was lucky enough to reserve a seat until 3:15 pm! There are only five sets of tables and chairs, and the decoration is very stylish~ There is also a tea set and dessert display cabinet in the middle. Maybe it’s because it’s in the basement and there aren’t many seats, but it’s quiet and comfortable to dine here. The cafe mainly provides light meals and afternoon tea. Tea Set is served from 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm Afternoon Indulgence Tea Set ($575 / For Two Persons) Two drinks were included, and my friend and I both chose tea ~ but the choices are not that many. Peninsula Afternoon Tea & Fragrance Tea - In fact, the former is black tea, like Earl Gray tea The savory snacks and desserts both look great, but there is only one piece of each for 2 people~ If you want to try them all, you might want to order the one for one person!? Classic English baked waffles with jam & clotted cream - several large waffles, with raisins and original flavor. I ate the original flavor, it was soft and delicious and not very dry. The salty snacks are mostly sandwiches, including tuna pickles and smoked salmon with pickle sauce. The kimchi in the former is not very spicy, and the pickle sauce in the latter is not very strong either~ That’s the taste I received There is also a sandwich made into a rolled egg shape that looks like a dessert - egg and celery sandwich roll The last one is the Parma Ham and Asparagus Tart - this one is just average compared to the others above. There are four types of desserts. The Napoleon is actually pretty good, but the bottom one seems a bit burnt. The other sweetness is just right ~ Personally like the strawberry roll - Slightly sour strawberry paired with fluffy cake! The other ones are blueberry cheesecake & mango pudding ~ In fact, there are large versions of these, and it seems you can order them with drinks. Chocolate & red raspberry macarons are placed on the bear’s plate, so cute! ! Just like the macarons I usually eat, they are very sweet. The other little bear has two pieces of red mulberry chocolate on it ~ Does it look the same as the Tea Set box? Finally, there is a cup of Hokkaido milk ice cream for each person, which is very fragrant and smooth ~ and decorated with gold foil.
