Excellent eating experience.. from walking in the door and being greeted by employee. Meal was served hot and excellent taste. Server was very friendly and helpful.

I'm not sure many people would be pleased with a 45 minutes wait for their food order, but since all the other dishes arrived in a reasonable period of time and our real reason for visiting was to have a natter, then I can't help but think the Reading Room was the ideal venue. It really is a place for chilling out and switching off, so although the service is quite attentive, waiting a bit for food is not an issue. Clearly the food was freshly made and reasonably priced for the area.
