Delicious Thunder Tea Rice for only $5.50, and you can opt for brown rice for no additional charge too! Everything came together so nicely, and the green tea is on the 'friendlier' side so I slurped it all up. Recommended! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The Thunder Tea Story is located in Alexandra Village Food Centre, stall #01-55. Price: $5.50 (Lei Cha Brown Rice) The ingredients of the Lei Cha (Thunder Tea Rice) includes fried beancurd, sweet chye poh (preserved radish bits), long beans, stir fried cabbage, mani cai (sweet leaf), chye sim, black-eyed bean and toasted peanuts. Tea soup is basil based and savoury in terms of taste. Service was really prompt and I got my lei Cha brown rice very quickly. The food centre can get crowded during lunch peak hour so do come early to avoid the crowd.
