From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this is a restaurant that truly understands how to balance a family-friendly atmosphere with a serious passion for great steak. The menu caters well to kids, while still offering a premium experience for meat lovers. What really sets The Velvet Cut apart is their in-room wood-fired grill, which brings an incredible depth of flavor to every dish. Being a halal restaurant, the entire experience is thoughtfully centered around high-quality meat—and it absolutely delivers on a true steakhouse level. A standout feature is the meat fridges displayed in the dining area, where you can personally select your preferred cut and size. We chose a porterhouse cooked medium, and it was more than enough for our family—perfectly done, rich in flavor, and ideal for sharing. Alongside it, we ordered Brussels sprouts, burger sliders, and homemade fries—all of which carried that signature wood-fired touch and complemented the steak beautifully. The sliders were a great hit with the kids, making the whole experience even more enjoyable for the family. The chef’s background in Australia clearly shines through in both the quality and execution of the food. Equally impressive was the attentive and knowledgeable service—the team guided us through the menu with ease and made sure even our kids were well taken care of and entertained throughout.
