We visited The Viet Roti for an early evening meal, arriving just after 6 PM. The restaurant was calm and far from crowded, offering a peaceful start to our dinner. We decided to try both the chicken and beef roti, eager to sample what the menu had to offer. While the spices and seasoning in both dishes were well-balanced and flavorful—delivering a pleasant taste that lingered nicely—the roti itself was unfortunately quite hard and tough, making it difficult to fully enjoy the otherwise delicious fillings. We also opted for a set meal, which, while convenient, felt somewhat overpriced given the portion sizes and the issue with the roti’s texture. That said, the quiet and relaxed atmosphere made it an ideal setting for a long, unhurried chat. With soft lighting and plenty of space between tables, we never felt rushed, and the overall vibe was perfectly suited to a weeknight dinner with friends. In summary, while The Viet Roti delivers on taste and offers a comfortable ambiance for evening diners, improvements in the texture of the roti and the value of the set meals would greatly enhance the experience.
