I discovered a delightful restaurant while seeking brunch in the vicinity. The Panfried Salmon (cooked just nice), the cream is savoury, and Soup of the Day were exceptionally delicious. The service was genuinely warm and personable. Additionally, the establishment features a pair of charming bulbuls whose soft chirping occasionally enhances the ambiance. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $200–250 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Just took myself out for a solo dinner and chose The White House after seeing their Instagram post for the all you can eat steak on Tuesday. Sadly it's Monday but I can't go tomorrow! I was warmly welcomed into the cosy and modest dining room that is nicely appointed. It was lovely to chat to the hosts who were really friendly and professional. I took frois gras to start followed by flat iron and cheesecake dessert. Washed down with house red and still water. The food was excellent as was the house red. Nothing to fault at all and was not rushed. I look forward to being able to try out the all you can say option in the future but if my schedule doesn't allow I will definitely be back for the a la carte. Thank you all so much and thumbs up to the chef. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $500+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
