I had one of the most disappointing experiences ever at Full Moon Bar. I went there with a group of 15 friends to celebrate a birthday. The staff told us we could sit at a VIP table for a short while and that we would gladly move when the reserved guests arrived — which we fully agreed to and had no problem with. However, when the foreign guests arrived, one of the men behaved extremely disrespectfully toward us. He rolled his eyes, stuck out his tongue, and waved the reservation sign in a mocking way, as if to say we didn’t belong there. I politely told him that this kind of behavior was very rude and unacceptable in Thailand. Even after we moved to another table without any issue, this same man came to our table again, placed the “Reserved” sign on our table just to provoke us, and acted aggressively. I was shocked that no staff or security stepped in to stop this. Instead, I saw the bar’s security hugging that man later — while no one came to apologize or even check if we were okay. The only apology came from the woman who was with him, not from the bar staff. This made us feel completely unsafe and unwelcome. If the table was truly unavailable, the staff should have told us from the beginning, rather than letting us sit there and then treat us as if we did something wrong. I’ve been to this bar several times before and actually liked it, but this time made me lose all respect. Seeing clear favoritism toward foreign customers and no sense of fairness or protection for Thai guests is unacceptable. We came to celebrate, spend money, and enjoy our night — but left feeling humiliated, unsafe, and deeply disappointed. Full Moon Bar seriously needs to improve its staff training, fairness, and sense of responsibility toward all customers — not just those who look “VIP. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
