The view was absolutely stunning, and that’s definitely the highlight of this place. The food was okay, but we found the portions to be quite small for the price. For example, the calamari was expensive, yet it only came with a few pieces, which was disappointing. Unfortunately, the service did not meet our expectations. When we first arrived, we asked one of the staff members, Ann, for some information about the drinks because we were genuinely curious. However, the way he responded made us feel as if we were asking a stupid question. It was a simple request for information, and we expected a more welcoming and friendly attitude. He also didn’t smile or make us feel comfortable. I’m not sure if it was because my companion is Thai, but we couldn’t help feeling that we were treated differently, as if we weren’t going to spend any money. I sincerely hope that wasn’t the case, but it left us feeling unwelcome. We came here because we received so many great recommendations and were really excited to experience this place. Sadly, we left feeling disappointed. We hope the management can improve the level of hospitality, as great service is just as important as having a beautiful view. If you are visiting Koh Samui, The Roof Samui is a spot you simply cannot miss. We stopped by for some food and drinks, and everything was delicious—especially the banana fritters with honey, which you have to try. The prices are also very reasonable for what you get. The road to the top is quite dangerous, so they prefer you don't ride your motorbike or scooter up. Instead, just park at the bottom and use their convenient shuttle service for the drop-off and pickup. The breathtaking mountain and sea views at the top are 100% worth it! Price per person: ฿1–200 Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot
