A beautiful restaurant in a stunning location with a lovely atmosphere. The fruit shakes were absolutely delicious and definitely one of the highlights of our visit. Unfortunately, the food was a big disappointment. The portions were so small that even a child might not be satisfied. We were genuinely surprised. Considering the tiny portion sizes, the prices felt very expensive. The food tasted good, but it wasn't the best meal we had on Koh Samui. Overall, it's a nice place for drinks and the ambiance, but not great value for food. Service: 3

Very unusual, but this Thai manager is very unfriendly. We'll go somewhere else next time. This is also reflected in the overall poor reviews. That's probably why there are hardly any guests here. But obviously, there's no interest in changing things. They prioritize rudeness over sales. Perhaps someone with some authority will read this and change it in the future. Service: 1

Well worth a visit if you're in the area of staying next door in The Melati Resort. Beautiful views over the white sand beach. Outdoor seating under the cover of 4 great palm trees. This beach is never crowded like Chewang 10 mins down the road. Right next to The View Restaurant and prices are half. If you are just paying half board at Melati than you may find yourself visiting Thongson Bay Restaurant through out the day for lunch, dinner and cocktails.
