Shouldnt be reviewing this since I dont want it to blow up like north gate. But thursday night music is great, incredible, seriously. I mean some of the best live music ive like, ever heard, and its got a cozy layout. AND its not as crowded as north gate (though still is super crowded sometimes) if youre solo or a small group you can often find SOMEWHERE to sit, people usually leave between musicians too so seats open. Incredible spot, gotta visit. Ive even gone other nights besides thursday, sometimes theyll have a musician just playing violin on a monday. Great vibe. Drinks are nice and well priced too.

We were visiting the Thursday Night Live @ Paapu House. It's a very sweet, cozy place & the live music was great. But I want to share an unpleasent situation: There were a couple of old white man in the bar who were weirdly staring (and sometimes filming) at the young females who were dancing and just having a good time, this made the vibe weird. At one point one of the old white guys was walking closly past us and touched the shoulder of my friend - she is 18 and looks young (which doesn't even matter but still), which is totally not okay, I called him out, he reacted weird and left (fortunately). Another old guy started talking with my 24 yo female friend and came way too close, touching her hair. Please be aware and call it out whenever you see boundaries are crossed/no consent is given no matter how drunk people are! Better ask one time too much for consent, if the other person is fine with whats happening, than too less.

Thanks for your review. Paapu House takes pride in having an international audience of all ages that mixes excellent! The, luckily rare, occasions that a thing like you mention happens we will address the man about his behaviour; you must have noticed my boyfriend did so last week. Like you we think our place should be a safe and warm environment for everyone.
