The restaurant offered decent vibes on the outside, but the service that we received today was not so great. My fiancee, her two sisters, and myself visited this establishment earlier today. All three of them ordered the same food and drink, while I ordered the German sausage platter with mashed potatoes. They received their meals first, but still had not been given their drinks even after being in the restaurant for over 30 min and almost finishing their entrees. I still had not received my German sausage dish and was offered no explanation or reassurance by the staff that my food was delayed and coming out. So after waiting for a long time, I notified the manager (who was walking around the restaurant) and asked about the status of my meal and why we had still not received our drinks yet. He later brought the drinks out but told my finance and her sisters in Thai to "calm down, there are a lot of people." I found this comment to be incredibly rude and unprofessional. The restaurant did have other customers, but it was not full by any means. I also noticed some of the waitresses (as well as the manager) playing on their phones. There was a whole other group of people who came in 20 mins after us, was seated, ordered, and had their food brought out to them before I FINALLY received the meal I had ordered almost one hour ago. The "German sausages" I received were little more than undercooked hotdogs that were cool in the center. The mash potatoes were also very runny and had a soupy consistency. I regret not taking a picture of the food immediately after it was brought out so that people can see for themselves the low quality food I was served. Overall, I was dissatisfied with the taste of the food, the long wait time, and the bad customer service. I would not have bothered to leave this review if the staff had been more attentive and professional. Someone should have notified us that our food was delayed, there was no apology made for my order being brought out so late. This was not a complicated meal to make, so I believe that either there was some miscommunication in the kitchen or they did not prioritize cooking my food and bring it out in a timely manner with everyone else's in my group. Everyone in my group had finished their food by the time I had received my order. Also, the girl who served our table did not seem very welcoming or even bothered to thank us for coming to the restaurant. I don't expect the staff to kiss my ass or worship me when I come to their restaurant, but I do expect for them to be courteous and professional when I choose to spend my money at their establishment. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the serene countryside atmosphere and the warmth of the staff, which instantly made me feel at home. This place is perfect for relaxing, taking photos, or spending quality time with friends and family. The setting is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery and a scenic view that brings a sense of calm. The design of the cafe is inspired by traditional Thai rice barns (เถียงนา), creating a unique and authentic vibe that stands out from other cafes. The blend of wood, open-air spaces, and the gentle breeze gives it a refreshing and cozy ambiance. The food and drinks are top-notch! I was impressed by the variety of Thai and fusion dishes available, all presented beautifully and full of flavor. Their coffee is excellent, and their signature drinks are creative and refreshing—definitely a must-try! Every dish I ordered was not only delicious but also reasonably priced, considering the high quality and portion sizes. What I appreciated the most was how clean and well-maintained the entire place was, including the restrooms. The staff were attentive, polite, and always smiling, which added to the overall pleasant experience. There are also plenty of spots for taking photos, and the atmosphere is perfect for anyone who loves nature, culture, and good food. I highly recommend Tiengna Cafe & Restaurant to anyone visiting the area. Whether you’re a tourist or a local, this place is worth every minute of your time.
