I went to the first restaurant opened in 2009. I went to 2 others in Hong Kong. And I have been to the ones in Bangkok and Manila. Love the places outside Hong Kong because the Services are good, especially Bangkok. Those 3 restaurants in Hong Kong, I was ok. But Mong Kok one doesn’t understand what services are all about. I was there by myself. And they wanted to seat me with a family of 3 and I suggested they would not have privacy. And myself would be quick. There were 2 tables of 2 available. They refused!! I do understand that they want to make money. And I also do understand that perhaps Hong Kong culture people don’t mind! I have gone to traditional dim sum places in Hong Kong and I have no problem sitting at a table of 10 strangers! So I suggest that I wait for another single person walking in and I would sit with him/her. This female manager or whoever her position might be started speaking loudly. I asked her to lower her voice. She said she had to speak loudly because speaking softly I don’t understand!! This is a terrible service and attitude!! I will write to Mr. Mak Kwai-pui personally!! 9 year of being a customer of this restaurant might come to an end!!
